Patrick Lavallée

Patrick Lavallée holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Montreal and a Master's degree in Public Administration. He was a member of the Quebec Bar from 1991 to 1998, during which time he practiced with rigor and professionalism. Driven by a deep sense of duty, he chose to reorient his career toward police service in 1999. He then joined the SPVM, where he rose through the ranks and concluded his career as an inspector after more than 25 years dedicated to public safety.

In addition to his duties, Patrick Lavallée taught police law at John Abbott College from 2006 to 2015 and, since 2025, has continued his teaching activities at Ahuntsic College.

Highly committed to social causes, he has received several awards, including the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, recognizing his dedication to protecting the environment and defending fundamental rights.
